Discovering Strengths

January 9, 16, & 23

This Strengths Finder mini-series is geared to help us discover our God given gifts & strengths and how to use and develop them in a way that brings out our best selves.  When we understand each others unique strengths and discover "What's right with each other", rather than "What's wrong with each other", we experience greater engagement, stronger alignment, and deeper relationships.

Egg Roll Rapido!

February 6, 13, & 20

Do you love egg rolls?  Have you ever wondered how to make them at home?  Do you love Heights of Hope and Circles?  If you answered yes to any of those questions, join us!  We will be making egg rolls to sell to help raise funds to continue hosting our Circles program!  We'll also learn more about fundraising & how to make the best egg rolls at home!  We need as many hands on deck to help us sell as many eggs rolls possible!   NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Adventures in Parenting (& for everyone who loves kids!)

March 5, 12, & 19

We all know that our kiddos are the leaders of tomorrow, but how do help them grow in ways that are healthy for them & us?  This mini-series is ideal for all parents, but can also be a very useful tool for caretakers, grandparents, teachers, and anyone who spends a lot of time helping to shape the minds of the next generation.

Cohort 1: September 2017-August 2019

Cohort 2: October 2019-August 2021

Cohort 3: September 2021-July 2023

Heights of Hope partners with Good Samaritan Ministries to offer Circles, an 18 - month national program designed to empower and equip families to move out of poverty and thrive. The method is intentionally relationship- and community-driven and brings together people from all walks of life to support our Circle leaders and create change in our community. Watch the videos on the Circles USA webpage to learn how the program works.

The program starts with training and equipping leaders from our neighborhood who identify their strengths and create long term goals. Leaders are then each matched with two to three allies from our neighborhood and greater community, who come alongside them to offer support and encouragement. This method is rooted in the belief that the responsibility for both poverty and prosperity rests not only in the hands of individuals, but also with societies, institutions, and communities.

Here are ways you can get involved:
