In the midst of so many unknowns, we at Heights of Hope are looking forward to a bright spot in our future: the annual Heights of Hope 5K and 1.5 Mile! It will likely look a bit different again this year, with a combination of in-person and virtual components. But we know for certain that the 5K must go on!
Our event will take place on or around Saturday, August 14, 2021, and we’re hoping to raise $10,000 for Heights of Hope while celebrating our vibrant and active community. This is only possible through the financial participation of community businesses like yours.
Heights of Hope is located in the Holland Heights neighborhood of Stratford Way, Abbey Court, Oxford Ct, and Country Lane. We are committed to Asset Based Community Development, which means we rely on the skills and talents of our neighbors and community partners to make our neighborhood even better than it already is. Our team lives and works alongside neighborhood leaders to empower, encourage, and affirm their God-given gifts, and form connections that build understanding and promote dignity and equality.

After the costs of hosting the event, proceeds fund our staff and programming, which are continuing to evolve through this pandemic. No matter what the summer holds, we are committed to staying connected to our neighbors, encouraging community, and participating in activities that promote physical, emotional, and mental health.
